BlahUSA

BlahUSA is a boutique agency representing animation, design and visual effects production companies based in the United States and Europe to advertising agencies. Their vision

Before Weva Consulting was born, BlahUSA had already contacted Alexandre Voyer to build a variety of applications for the BlahUSA website. Each application had its own purpose and therefore had to be managed independently. When Weva finally launched they suggested consolidating all the admin panels to one simplified control panel and make it easier for the BlahUSA employees to update the information across their various sites.

Next, BlahUSA wanted to build a web application where clients could request show reels via a “DVD Cart” where they could select reels online and submit the request with the push of a button. It was important that it be well designed and simple to use.

Our solution

Weva consolidated all the different admin panels onto one Content Management System (CMS) page with one consistent look and feel so that any employee could easily manage all the online content in the various sites. The design was simplified so that anyone could step in and manage the content quickly and effectively. In addition, they could also go back and edit any of the content just as quickly with no computer experience.

The DVD Cart was also added in to the site as well as the CMS page. The image processing is so easy so that, again, someone without any experience can do the updating since pictures are automatically resized and cropped to fit the website layout. By setting up the management system this way Weva was able to maintain the look of the site with its original look and feel.
